DESCRIPTION
One part, neutral curing weatherproofing silicone sealant with excellent unprimed adhesion to a wide variety of construction materials and building components. Strong elastic seal capable of withstanding movements up to ±35% of original joint width. Excellent resistance to weathering, UV Radiation, Ozone, moisture, temperature extremes, etc.
APPLICATION
General glazing and weather sealing in medium sized curtain wall and building facades; Sealing in expansion joints for concrete, plastics, metal, etc. Sealing in roof joints.
TYPICAL PROPERTIES
SHELF LIFE AND STORAGE
When stored at or below 27℃(86°F) in the original unopened containers, this product has a usable life of 12 months from the date of manufacture. Refer to product packaging for "Use By" date.
LIMITATIONS
Do not use for structural glazing. Not recommended for building materials that bleed oils, plasticizers, or solvents-materials such as impregnated wood, oil-based caulks, green or partially vulcanized rubber gaskets or tapes. Not recommended for use in totally confined spaces as the sealant requires atmospheric moisture for cure. Not recommended for continuous water immersion applications. Not recommended for use on frost-laden or wet surfaces. Not recommended for places where painting of the sealant is required, as the paint film may crack and peel. Do not apply at temperatures below 4℃ or above 40℃.
