DESCRIPTION

SILMATE 1105 Mirror Liquid Nails is a premium grade, solvent based, synthetic rubber construction adhesive that delivers a consistently strong and lasting bond on electro-copper-plated glass mirror and most building substrates. It has a thick non-runny consistency. 

APPLICATION

SILMATE 1105 Mirror Liquid Nails have been field tested for compatibility with silver, copper, and mirror backing. SILMATE 1105 has an easy working consistency year round, and will adhere to a wide variety of substrates including drywall, wood, metal, glass, marble, and tile. NOTE: Not for use on acrylic mirror.

SHELF LIFE AND STORAGE

When stored at or below 27℃(86°F) in the original unopened containers, this product has a usable life of 12 months from the date of manufacture. Refer to product packaging for "Use By" date.

LIMITATIONS

Do not use as the sole fixing for metal panels in exterior applications, as exposure to direct sun can soften adhesive causing panel to creep. Do not use on styrofoam, plastics or acrylic mirror. Take care to prevent spills of adhesive onto lacquered timber surfaces, as solvents in the product may damage the appearance/finish. Not recommended for tightly clamped joints. Not suitable for bonding materials in areas which will be constantly damp or wet. MAY BE HARMFUL IF SWALLOWED. MAY CAUSE EYE AND SKIN IRRITATION. Avoid breathing vapours, spray or mists. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Wear protective gloves/clothing and eye/face protection. Keep out of reach of children. Highly flammable.
